Easy Tips to Kill Depression
Loneliness is very natural to everyone. Failure and rejection in general makes us sad or when someone we are very close with has passed away. Plain loneliness might lead to depression or worse it can be more fatal turning into life-long consequences that could ruin your health, self esteem and well being.
The following are some of helpful tips to overcome sad mood and get the most happiness out of the day.
Get Enough Exposure of light and Sunshine.
Deficient sunlight exposure emits hormone melatonin, which triggers a depress mood and a feeling of exhaustion.
Darkness increases the production of melatonin in our body which is responsible for lowering our body temperature making you feel very tired. When you coop up inside a closed room, you will find it hard to restrain from staying in bed.
This is one of the reasons why a lot of people suffer from depression often in the winter than in the other seasons. This is because nights are longer during winter.
Light up your room with brighter lights if you cannot afford to get some sunshine. You can have lunch outside your work area as well as taking frequent walks on short distances instead of driving a car.
Make yourself busy and inspired.
You would not notice the feeling of depression when you are too busy. Do the things you love doing. Do the leisure you like such as strolling in the park, reading books, and many more activities that you have passion to.
Always set a goal in life. Remain firm and always make positive point of views in life no matter how discouraging life can be. Set in your mind that you can do anything that your heart desires. This kind of positive attitude would certainly help you attain cheerful character to beat loneliness.
Give yourself a break.
Take a break from your stressful work and have fun! Listen to soothing music, take a warm bath, or go to a massage parlor.
Eat Proper food and Stay Fit.
You should avoid foods with a lot of sugar, alcohol, or caffeine. Sugar and caffeine ,ay boost your energy in a moment but it can bring you tension and some internal problems later on. Alcohol is depressant as well.
Regular exercise can decrease depression because it allows your body to produce endorphins than the usual. Endorphins are called, happy chemicals because of its happiness-inducing and stress reducing properties
Get a Social Life
Get moral support from your friends. Spend time and do worthwhile activities with them. This will bring you joy and satisfying feeling. It’s good to get support from friends and to feel that you’re not alone. So hug someone today, you’ll never know when you have saved a life.
Get Intimate
Establish a good relationship with family and friends. The love and care given to you from them can enormously boost your immune system and ward of illness. And most of all, you will live a happy life.
